The tools you get during an exam
Highlighter, line reader, scratchpad, notes, eliminator, reference sheet and calculator.
The runner carries the working surfaces the real test gives you. Learn them before you sit a ranked mock, not during one.
- **Highlighter** — works over the passage and over the question. Your marks are saved per question, so flagging something and coming back does not hand you a clean passage to re-read.
- **Line reader** — dims the page and leaves one band of it lit. Useful if you track lines with a finger on paper.
- **Scratchpad** — a working area that persists through the module.
- **Note** — a note you can leave on a single question.
- **Answer eliminator** — strike out options you have ruled out.
- **Mark for review** — flag a question and return to it before the module closes. See Flagging and review.
- **Reference sheet** — the formulas, as on the real test.
