If we have infringed your copyright

All questions and explanations on Preptics are original works generated from public documentation. If you nonetheless believe material here infringes your copyright, tell us and we will act quickly.

Send a notice to support@preptics.com including:

1. Your contact details.
2. Identification of the copyrighted work you say has been infringed.
3. The URL or precise location of the material on our site.
4. A statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
5. A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorised to act on the owner's behalf.
6. Your physical or electronic signature.

Send notices to: support@preptics.com. Preptics is operated by an independent business. A US limited liability company is being formed; this page will name it as soon as registration completes.

A note on status: the safe harbour in DMCA §512 requires a designated agent registered with the US Copyright Office, and that registration is tied to a formed legal entity. Ours is not yet in place, so we are not claiming safe-harbour protection. That changes nothing about how we handle a notice — the process above is what we actually do, and we act on valid notices promptly. This page will name the registered agent as soon as the registration completes.

Counter-notice

If your material was removed and you believe that was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice with your contact details, identification of the removed material and its former location, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe it was removed in error, and your consent to jurisdiction.

Repeat infringers

We terminate the accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.

If someone has taken our content

Our questions are ours, and we do pursue copies. We seed uniquely identifiable material into accounts, so when our content appears elsewhere we can usually identify the source account. If you have seen Preptics content republished somewhere, we would genuinely like to know — tell us.

A note on exam content

We never publish real, recalled or leaked exam questions. If you believe something on this site reproduces an exam body's protected content, report it through the process above and we will remove it while we investigate, not after.
