Acceptable use policy

Four rules, and an honest description of what happens when one is broken.
1. One account, one person
Do not share your login. We limit concurrent devices and may ask you to re-authenticate.
We know shared computers, university networks and mobile carriers make people look like they are sharing when they are not. That is why our first responses are always informational — showing you your device list, or asking you to sign in again — and why no automatic step ends in a ban.
2. Do not take the content
No scraping, bulk downloading, automated access, or republishing our questions and explanations anywhere. Do not use our content to train a model.
We rate-limit question delivery per account. A normal learner sitting several exams a day never comes close to these limits; a harvester hits them within minutes.
3. No leaked or real exam content
Do not send us, request from us, or post real exam questions — including questions recalled from memory after sitting an exam.
This protects you as much as us. The College Board owns the copyright in real SAT questions, and can cancel scores for test-day misconduct involving leaked material. We will not publish it, and we will not help anyone find it.
4. Do not attack the service
No probing for vulnerabilities without permission, no denial-of-service, no attempts to access other people's accounts or data, no payment fraud.
If you find a security problem, please report it to support@preptics.com. We will not pursue anyone who reports a genuine issue in good faith and gives us a reasonable chance to fix it.
What happens if you break a rule
Enforcement escalates, and the early steps are invisible or informational:
- Recorded, no action taken.
- You are told what we noticed, and shown the relevant data.
- You are asked to re-authenticate, or other sessions are signed out.
- Rate limits are applied, or an exam is excluded from the public leaderboard.
- Access is restricted pending review by a person.
- Suspension — only for fraud with a financial victim, or serious repeated breaches.
We do not ban automatically. Every enforcement action tells you what happened, in plain language, and how to appeal it. Appeals are read by a person.
