What do the registration and score release dates mean?Link to the section: What do the registration and score release dates mean?

Each deadline is the College Board's own, and each one is a last day, not a suggestion.

Register by is the last day to register for that sitting at the regular price. Late registration until is the last day after that: still possible, and it costs extra. The College Board sets the fee and changes it, so we do not print one here.

Scores released is the day the College Board publishes scores for that sitting. A dash means we have not read that day from its schedule, and we do not guess one, because a retake is planned backwards from the day a score arrives.

The College Board lists the same dates for the US and for test centres abroad. Seats at a test centre are limited, so a deadline that has not passed does not promise a seat.

The College Board lists these sittings as expected, with no registration deadlines yet.

Treat an expected date as a plan, not a booking. We move it to the table above when the College Board confirms it.

How do you plan practice around a test date?Link to the section: How do you plan practice around a test date?

Count back from the date you will sit, not forward from today.

When you set up a free account you enter your test date, and your study plan counts back from it. If you are still choosing a date, count the weeks from today to each sitting in the table above. How many full-length practice tests should you take? says how to space them.

Practice scores come as a range with the confidence stated, not a single number, and the range narrows as you sit more mocks. How your score is calculated explains the method and its limits.
