About Preptics
Digital SAT practice built around one promise: the number we show you is honest. Full-length adaptive mocks, a score reported as a range with its confidence stated, and a plan that tells you what to do today. This page is who makes it, how we check it, and how to reach us.

A practice score is an estimate, yet it usually arrives as a single number — and a student then plans weeks of work around a precision that was never there.
The official tools do their own jobs well: one administers the test, another teaches the content. Neither tells you how far to trust your number, or what to do tomorrow because of it. Preptics was built to do both — mocks that adapt the way the Digital SAT does, a score that arrives as a range with its confidence written beside it, and a study plan sized to the hours you actually have.
Every method behind those numbers is published, so you can check it rather than take our word for it: how scores work, how questions are made and how the rest of Preptics works.

A range, never a fake-precise score
Every score comes with its confidence stated — ±60 on the total after one mock, narrowing to ±40 after three — because a practice score is an estimate.
How scores workOriginal questions, never real SAT material
Every question and passage is written for Preptics. Real SAT questions are the College Board's copyrighted work, and we do not reproduce them.
How questions are madeOur code does the maths; AI only writes
Scores, skill estimates and your plan are calculated by code under published rules. AI drafts wording from numbers already worked out, and never inside a timed test.
How we use AIA person checks, and mistakes come down fast
Questions pass automated checks and then a person: our content auditor has reviewed every question in the published practice tests. Reviewers can miss things too, so every question has a report button — and three reports take it out of circulation.

Who writes what
Guides on how scoring and adaptive testing work are written by Md Nasim Sheikh, who built the engine they describe. Guides on the test itself and how to prepare for it are written by Nusrat Tabassum Oyshi, an admission-test instructor who has also reviewed every lesson, practice test and guide on the site. Every guide carries its author's name and the date it last changed, and that date moves only when the words do.
What we check claims against
Facts about the Digital SAT — its timing, structure and scoring — are checked against the College Board's published specifications. Facts about Preptics are checked against the product itself: when a guide says how a number is worked out, that is what the code does.
Where AI is involved
Practice questions are drafted with AI and then pass seven checks, the last of them a person — the full process is on how questions are made. Where AI helps draft or edit a guide, the named author checks every claim in it and answers for the result.
Corrections
If something here is wrong, tell us at support@preptics.com, or use the report button on any question. We fix it and update the page's date, and where a mistake affected anyone's score, the scores it touched are recalculated.
Independence
Preptics is not affiliated with the College Board, and nothing here is endorsed by it. No one pays to appear in a guide, and the site carries no advertising.

Preptics was started in 2026 by Md Nasim Sheikh and is run by the team above. A US limited liability company is being formed to operate it; this page and the legal pages will name it as soon as registration completes.
