Changing your email or display name
What can be changed, where, and what changes with it.
Open Settings. Your display name and profile details are in the Profile section.
Display nameLink to the section: Display name
Change it any time. It is what appears on the leaderboard if you are on it, and it is not required to be your real name — we never ask for one.
Email addressLink to the section: Email address
Changing the address on the account sends a confirmation link to the new one. The change takes effect when you open that link, not when you press save. Until then the old address still works.
PasswordLink to the section: Password
Also in Settings. Changing it does not sign you out of other devices automatically — if that is what you want, do it from Devices.
