Devices and account sharing
Why we track devices, what we store, and how to sign out everywhere.
We record a device family and a country for each place your account signs in. We do not store full addresses and nothing that identifies the machine itself.
This exists for you as much as for us: it is how you find out your account is being used by someone else. If you see a device or country you do not recognise, use "Sign out everywhere else" on the Devices page and change your password.
Accounts showing sustained sharing across many devices and locations may be restricted.
