Notifications and announcements
What we send, where it appears, and what you can turn off.
Notifications appear in your feed and, for anything urgent, as a banner across the top of the site.
What we sendLink to the section: What we send
- Results and score updates for your own attempts
- Announcements about the platform, including outages
- Replies on support conversations you started
What we do not sendLink to the section: What we do not send
Marketing email you did not ask for, streak-shaming, or notifications engineered to pull you back into the app. There is no daily reminder that exists to raise engagement rather than to tell you something.
BannersLink to the section: Banners
A banner is used for something time-sensitive, such as a payment issue or degraded service. A critical one is not dismissible — "payments are failing" needs to stay put, while "a new mock is available" must not, or people learn to close the bar without reading it.
