Your practice score went down
The four ordinary reasons, and the one that actually matters.
A lower score on your second or third mock is common and usually means less than it feels like.

- **Were the conditions the same?** An interrupted mock, one sat in the evening after school, or one where you checked something is not comparable to one sat properly.
- **Which second module did you get?** Being routed to the harder path and scoring similarly is an improvement, not a decline.
- **Do the bands overlap?** If your first was 1210 to 1330 and your second is 1180 to 1300, those are not different results. They are the same measurement twice.
- **Had you seen the form before?** A remembered form inflates a score and destroys the comparison.

If conditions were identical, routing was the same and the bands do not overlap, something changed — and the skill breakdown will say what. Usually it is pacing under fatigue rather than knowledge.
