Sitting your first mock exam
What to expect the first time, and how to get a useful result rather than a discouraging one.
Set aside the full time. A mock sat in ten-minute chunks tells you nothing about whether you can hold concentration for ninety minutes, which is a real part of passing.
The clock is held on our server, not in your browser. Closing the tab does not pause it, and reopening does not give you time back. This is deliberate: the real exam does not pause either.
You can flag any question for review and come back to it. At the end you get a scaled score on the real exam scale, a pass prediction against the real cut score, and a domain-by-domain breakdown.
Take the result seriously but not personally. A first mock is a measurement, not a verdict.
